Noctua School Alliance

Following the recent announcement by the Secretary of State for Education, Noctua School Alliance has taken the decision to cancel face-to-face training until we feel it is safe to do so to ensure maximum staffing levels in schools during these unprecedented times. We are pleased to offer your schools remote training sessions. To book a place, click on the training tab.
All our training is based on the most up to date evidence informed research.

About Us

Noctua was established in 2013. It was designated a teaching school in 2014, and in 2021 became a school alliance. It’s a network of schools that work with others to provide high quality support and training for teachers and schools in Leeds and beyond. An example of the work we do is supporting teachers who are in the early stages of their career.

It's made up strategic and operational partners. The strategic partners are Noctua's 'governing body', involved in communications with stakeholders such as local authorities and the National College of Teaching and Leadership. They include Tranmere Park Primary, Manor Wood Primary, Moortown Primary, Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary, Shakespeare Primary, Park Spring Primary and Beeston Primary. Our operational partners are schools which play a key part in various aspects of our work, including school to school support.
