| Details | Session Details: You'll gain a deeper understanding of the aims of the curriculum, develop your own subject knowledge and identify the role subject leader’s play in developing a whole school approach to teaching the programmes of study for KS1 and KS2. You'll explore how to introduce a range of tools and materials into the curriculum, complete a ‘skills-boosting ‘practical task focused on an area of the Design & Technology National Curriculum. This course includes hands-on learning that can be transferred into a classroom setting. You'll look at your own D&T curriculum to ensure its progressively planned, well-balanced and meets the needs of your learners. You'll identify solutions to potential challenges facing the teaching of D&T in your school. You'll leave this course with resources to help support you to embed D&T effectively in your school Event location: TBC | |||
