| Details | Half day session delivered by Rebecca Jennings. RSHE Educator, Trainer, Writer, Broadcaster & Parent. RAISE (working with RSHE in Schools since 2003) This workshop provides practical ideas on how to deliver the more sensitive aspects of the RSHE (Relationships, Sex and Health Education) subjects in an inclusive, comfortable and safe environment. We will explore effective techniques of how to answer direct questions from parents and pupils and how to manage these conversations effectively in an age-appropriate manner. Session overview: • How to teach a difficult or sensitive RSHE subject • How to define what is 'age appropriate' for your pupils? • Answering questions from pupils and parents relating to RSHE • Techniques to create a teaching environment which ensures staff and pupils feel safe to broach topics of a sensitive nature • Top tips and Q&A Remote Learning Session | |||
