DetailsThe programme covers three 90 minute remote sessions and will be delivered by Clare Seccombe.
Clare Seccombe has taught languages in Sunderland primary schools for sixteen years, having previously spent fourteen years as a secondary languages teacher, Advanced Skills Teacher and primary languages adviser. Clare is probably best-known for setting up, maintaining and writing resources for Light Bulb Languages. Clare collaborates with publishers, speaks at conferences, supports teachers in local schools and trains students at universities.

This exciting new course will cover some of the following and more:

Session 1: Intent, Implementation and Impact
Setting up foreign language teaching in your school:
• choosing a language
• selecting a scheme of work
• what to include in paperwork
• preparing for deep dives / areas of focus
• the “Three Pillars” of vocabulary, grammar and phonics
